Iced Blueberry Cacao Latte Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 serving of Blossom’s cacao latte mix

  • Ice

  • Cheesecloth (or a fine sieve)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Blueberry Juice:

    • In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of fresh blueberries with 1/2 cup of water.

    • Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the blueberries to release their juice. Note: If you’d like a more concentrated blueberry flavor, add more blueberries or use less water.

    • Place a cheesecloth over a bowl (or use a fine sieve) and pour the blueberry mixture over it to strain out the skins and seeds. Let the juice cool slightly.

    • Quick Tip: If you're in a hurry, pour the hot blueberry mixture into the cheesecloth over the bowl until the liquid fills the bowl. Then, move the closed cheesecloth to a cup of ice. Squeeze the berries over the ice, and then sieve the juice from the ice bowl back into the original bowl.

  2. Mix the Latte:

    • Pour 4 oz of the freshly prepared blueberry juice into a mug.
